how many byo's can she go to in 1 week? (i'm going to shao lang kung as partt of a batchlorette on saturday too!)

so last night, to avoid the tv coverage of 9/11, we went to dimitri's (the one off of south). I hadn't been in about 3 years, cause we usually go out fri/sat and you can NEVER get in! there is always an hour wait!

so since it was a wed, we gave it a try, and even though it was packed, we got a spot at the bar (my fav place to sit) and cracked open our bottle of wine (side note - i'm in love with corkscrewed in jersey for my wines - i haven't had a bad bottle yet!)

Hubby had the special - tilapia (17) it was really good :) but nothing compared to mine, i had too little plates, feta and olives (6), and grilled octopus (9). The feta and olives were huge, i took 1/2 home - 6 large chunks of feta and about 30 olives kalamata and some sort of green pungent olive with a pit. The octopus was the most tender i have ever eaten (we spent 2 weeks in greece for our honeymoon in july and it was even better thatn the squid/ocopus there!)

It was truly a wonderful evening at a reasnoble price
