buying wheat and other grains directly from farm?

As I anxiously wait for my little grain mill to arrive, the non-existant space in my 40sq meter apartment is already craving to be filled with wheat berries.
I saw wheat berries for sprouting at Naturalia and le Nouveau Robinson, and vaguely remember it being just above 1.50e for a bag of .5kg, which will start to be very expensive if I make bread all the time. I know I probably won't find organic wheat at $20/50lb bag like in the US, but there must be cheaper wheat to be had in bulk here?
I have a preference for hard spring red; which I think might be hard to come by, as I've heard most wheat here is winter, which I can accept.
I'm also looking to eventually add spelts, rye, emmer, oat, barley and other grains to my arsenal, but I think those will come more easily once I have a lead for the wheat, no?
Thank you for any recs!
