I am now at a point where I am cooking enough to consider making an investment in a great set of knives. I would like to begin a set that I can expand on as my needs grow. Looking for something that will be great quality without getting crazy (ex. ceramic, etc).
A chef I discussed this with suggested Wusthof (or anything German) and going with a chef's/cook's and paring to begin.
Any thoughts on brands/blades and if so, where to buy them?
