Where to buy great paté

I adore good paté and always order it in restaurants but would love to have some at home for those French-style meat, cheese and bread lunches at the weekend. I don't mean the nasty-looking pre-packaged slices that you find in supermarkets. Williams-Sonoma has a nice range of artisan-produced patés but they're small in size and pretty expensive. Any ideas of where to find in San Francisco? Thanks
