This question is about the butter. Most recipe I saw calls for unsalted butter, some then say add additional salt, some don't.
I bought some butter from Costco and it says "sweet cream" butter. I thought that meant unsalted, but then saw in the ingrident list it lists salt.
So what difference would it make if I use salted butter to make my buttercream?
Or, if I use on of those recipe that calls for additional salt and I just don't because my butter is already salted?
