Not for me, but for my beloved, who was recently told not to eat butter. I use good olive oil or safflower oil for almost everything, but for toast, popcorn, mashed potatoes, etc., I'd like to find a butter-like option that doesn't taste like salted motor oil.
I hate all the margerines I've tasted. I particularly don't like the way they smell.
Does someone out there have a secret favorite? In England once I tried a butter-like substance with olive oil in it, which was decent.
