Burritos/Mexican Food in the East Bay

Steve | Aug 22, 200202:49 PM     10

I've lived too long beyond the Caldecott, but my memory says that Taqueria Morelia had the best burritos in Oakland/Berkeley. Can anyone confirm, contradict or update the memory? A houseguest from New England, whose experience with Mexican food is comparable to a Californian's familiarty with Lobster rolls, wants to enjoy a benchmark burrito.
While I'm at it, how about information about Mexican restaurants in the East Bay that go beyond the standard stuff that too often turns out to be slop?
