burrata - best dish or cheeseshop?

first post on the manhattan board and i'll admit i'm a bit afraid of all you fine folk. i think i've done all the research i can on this board so here goes.... if it's a bit repetitive please bare with me!

i'm in town for one day/evening (saturday) as part of a layover to japan. i'm planning on indulging in a little aquavit for dinner and have been trying to determine what i'll do inbetween. one item that evades me in dear old toronto is burrata, only two places sell it and it's a first come first serve whenever it shows up situation.

so o' great land of food.... where might i find the most reasonably priced but delicious dish of burrata for lunch? OR could you recommend where i might get said cheese and perhaps some delicious bread/baguette so that i might sit on the street to enjoy its pleasures? proximity to midtown = bonus points!
