Made my first trip to Miracle of Science on Mass Ave. last night. Previous attempts had been blocked by crowding and Logan runway decibelage. Indeed, they serve a tasty burger. Mine was plain, medium rare; my friend's had pepper jack cheese and was medium; nobody was disappointed. Juicy! Beefy! Burgers served on a large (almost but not quite too large), slightly toasted plain roll, with sauteed/pan-fried potato chunks, several of whose sides were pleasantly at the blackened end of the distribution of the cooking spectrum.
This morning, I stumbled upon unexpectedly fresh donuts at Campo di Fiore, the pizza etc. place in Holyoke Arcade in Harvard Square. Warm, moist inside, sugar coated. Not sure where they get it (could be in-house, as a pizza place does have an inherent bakery element), and it could have been better (wasn't very flavorful), but warm and moist was good enough for me! One of these days, I'll actually try one of their pizzas.
