Just wondering if anyone has ever eaten at the above restaurants. I pass by them almost every weekday on my commute and always see a handfull of patrons there. They're super tiny restaurants but appear to have been there for ages.
"Burger Basket" is on the corner of Duarte Road and Mayflower in Monrovia. This place is TINY!! Maybe only has 2 tables at the most. They have specials painted on the windows: "Burger, Fries an 20 oz. drink for $3.50" and "Pastrami, fries and Drink for $5.20"
"Jim's Burgers" is on Duarte Road between Mayflower and Santa Anita. It's in the Super A Market shopping center. This is a 50's diner type of place that is always crowded.
I'll probably try these soon but thought I'd throw out the inquiry in advance.
Thanks in advance!
