Some friends and I had dim sum at the Golden Unicorn on Memorial Day (it was not great but good - nice curried squid, in particular, and the desserts were nice). Afterwards, we went to Mott St. and looked at the line at Saint's Alp. It was long, so we decided to try the place a few doors down, Green Tea House or whatever it's called. Mistake. It was OK, but they use way more sugar in everything than Saint's Alp. Some of my friends also objected that the music was too loud. It was more spacious than Saint's Alp and the food seemed better, had we had any interest in getting some (which we didn't because we were all full), but I think we all concluded that, in the future, it will be worth waiting for a cramped table at Saint's Alp and having e.g. a perfectly smooth taro milk tea rather than one that tasted like a milkshake.
