Bua Thai Cuisine, Milpitas lunch report

hhc | Jun 2, 2006 03:58 PM

I got to try this place based on my coworkers recommendation. It's pretty good, in a former Taco Bell location. We were the first people there for lunch at 11am and ordered very quickly.

We both got the 2 items of your choice for $5.95, which comes w/ free veggie soup (peas & carrots-frozen type and vermicelli noodles) which is fine nothing special and steamed jasmine rice.

My dishes I liked and recommend: #5 Kang keow wan-chicken cooked in green curry paste, coconut milk, zucchini, fresh chili, & sweet basil leaves. Also got #18 Moo kra tiam-pan fried marinated pork w/ garlic & black pepper, served w/ lime sauce. The Thai ice tea for $1.50 is good and tasty. Ask for hot sauce and you get 4 tiny containers of spices and sauces. My friend was sweating after trying one of them.

I used the bathrooms before I left so didn't have to use it, It's outside of the restaurant. We got back in an hr. They take credit card!
