Was anybody else frustrated by this review of Whole Foods? The writer seems to be avoiding any strong opinions about the food, and I'm puzzled by that.
He mentions the wall of produce and the beauty of the produce, nothing about flavor. So far, so good.
Then he goes on to the olive oil, and one brand which was recommended by a friend. Did he open the bottle and taste it? No idea.
On to the bakery, finally an opinion (the cannoli was ok.)
Then he bought salmon sushi and tuna maki... How did it taste? No idea.
I don't think it's a terrible story, but I kept reading and wondering what kept the guy from just coming out and saying how things tasted like. It's a food store after all!
