I've noticed that the Belgian boards on Chowhound haven't gotten a ton of love recently. I'm going to Belgium (Brussels and Ghent) for a few days in March and I wanted to post what I've been able to cobble together for restaurant recommendations. I'll post detailed reviews when I'm back, but if anyone could offer some advice prior, it would be great!
Nordzee (am just here for a day, so doing lunch here)
Breakfast at Chez Olivier
Dinner at (still deciding): Faim Fatale, Pantomiene, or De Rechtvaardige Rechters
Have heard good things about the following businesses in Ghent:
Ratz Bar (across from the Flemish Opera House) for beer
Proof (Jan Breydelstraat 34)
Francoise for dessert
Jozef’s frietkoten for frites
Balisto for a hot chocolate
De Alchemist bar (Rekelingestraat 3)
