Something new for brunch in Vegas?

janetofreno | Mar 13, 2008 10:25 PM

DH and I have both been on the road a lot, and unfortunately not together.....so Sunday may be the first full day we've spent together in about two weeks. Of course, the weather man says highs may only be into the 50s and he even mentioned the dreaded "f" word (that would be "flurries" in Las Vegas..why can't we get today's 80s??) So outdoor activities might not be the best choice; we might just forgoe our usual Sunday hike for a big brunch with lots of champagne (what good is brunch without champagne?) and a long "nap" afterwards. Any suggestions for Sunday brunch? I'm not into doing the casino buffet thing; even the better buffets. Actually, I would prefer west/north of the strip so I don't have to deal with traffic to boot. Any ideas??

I just learned my father and stepmom will be here on Mother's Day and would love a nice brunch...so if you have suggestions I can try it out and then make reservations for them. yeah, yeah, I don't like eating out on Mother's Day all that much either...but I certainly don't want to spend my day cooking for the crowd, and since my own kids will be in the middle of their finals at the University I doubt that they will show up to cook for me.....
