Brunch at Marigold

Just came back from brunch at Marigold. I agree with the earlier posting that said it was terrific. We loved what we ordered and saw several other dishes on the menu that we would like to try. I don't know how often it changes, but today's selections looked wonderful. We both had cornflakes french toast, served with cranberry butter and accompanied by a warm whiskey syrup. There was a swirl of chestnut puree as well. Cornflakes french toast sounded a little odd at first but, as the waiter said it was his favorite, we tried it. The french toast is dipped in crushed cornflakes, which make it nice and crisp on the outside. We also shared a side of warm potato mustard salad. Yummy. Good coffee was served with cream. As I said, so many of the other entrees looked good and we can't wait to return. I want to add that, although they stop serving at 2:30pm and we arrived at 2:25pm, they couldn't have been more gracious. We weren't rushed at all. Both the waitstaff and Jonathan, the GM, are charming.
