Need brunch and dinner suggestions for visitors

I've lived in Los Angles for two years and I should know the answer to these questions by now. Unfortunately, I don't get to eat out as often as I like. Been reading previous threads for two hours, but I have some specific questions that keep coming up.

I have guests coming in Sunday and I'm looking for brunch and dinner recs. For brunch, I want someplace relaxing, patio seating, mimosas. We will have a car but mostly be in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Santa Monica and Venice.

I was thinking of Joe's, but I want something casual. Is this a casual place? I want good food, of course. But people watching is always a plus with out of town visitors. We need someplace that serves mimosas. I don't want to take them to The Griddle because we went there on their last visit. I'd also rather it be in an area like Venice where we can walk around after we eat.

For dinner, they want to go to Dolce or something similar. I've never been, so any thoughts or with recommendations on what to order? Is there someplace we should consider instead with similar pricing and atmosphere?

I've always wanted to go to Hungry Cat. Would that be a good option for brunch or dinner? Thanks for any guidance.
