Brooklyn Restaurant Week at Blue Ribbon

BigCheese and BikerChick | Apr 15, 2005 08:56 AM

We've been to Blue Ribbon Brooklyn before and were going for the oysters, hanger steak and trout. But then we saw it was Restaurant Week, which we had completely forgotten about. You get three courses and they are substantial. Especially when we ordered the steak tartare as a starter.

We pretty much covered all the choices since there are only two options per course (with one for dessert).

Appetizers:
Asparagus and Potato Soup
Braised Pork Cheek Crostini

Main:
BBQ Pork Ribs with Collards and Mash
1/2 Game Hen with Brussel Sprouts and Mash

Dessert( to die for and I'm not normally a dessert person):
Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream and Fudge Sauce

Ouch. Get it with the Dark German Beer they have on tap and you'll be in heaven.
