So, my friend Jake spent a couple years working for Dow Jones in Shang Hai and he got accoustomed to a special broccoli dish they served there. Then he moved to Brooklyn to do a clerkship and he and I lived next to Cottage South on 5th and 3rd, one of those no frills chinese restaurants. He became friends with them and then taught them (although it is very easy) on how to make it.
All it is, is Broccoli with ginger and very little oil. For a large it cost something like $6.00. It is so good. and i think relatively healthy. I usually bring it over to the gate and eat it in the garden with a Heffe Weisen. When you go, if you order "Broccoli like Jake" and just explain to them that it is ginger instead of garlic with very little oil, they will make it perfect for you. And really it is a great simple dish.
