Brix Warning

Don't order the starter of smoked salmon with potato salad at Brix in the Napa Valley. The potatoes are so undercooked they're virtually inedible. I told the waiter and he said "the chef likes them al dente". Faggedaboutit. The rest of the lunch was quite good though; a non-Japanese version of a bento box.
