Help!! Brisket Problem

Hi. I just made a brisket last night. I let it sit out for a little while to cool off but it was still pretty hot when I put it in the fridge. When I took it out today, the gravy seems to have formed into whitespots and coagulated...what is this!? Is it inedible now?
