Bring on the spiciness!

I'll admit it - I'm jonesing. My family is Sri Lankan, and I grew up eating everything prepared very spicily (if that it is a word) and augmented further with fresh hot chilies to add if you wanted more heat. Every now and then I reach my limit with non-spicy food (and don't feel like cooking myself), and this is one of those times.

Can anyone suggest a good place to eat spicy food, of any ethnicity? Thai usually comes through for me, but I'm hoping to broaden my horizons a bit here. I live in Marin, but I'll travel a bit for something extraordinary. :)
