Brigtsen's as seen by an outsider

Despite many memorable trips to New Orleans over the decades, and dining at many of the famed spots that make your city the greatest resource to the gourmet S of New York, this was our first visit to Brigtsen's.

But not the last. We won't visit your city without at least one dinner at that wonderful restaurant.

I won't bore you with the details. The menu is online, and judging by the oohs and aahs from the tables around us in the tiny and fully packed dining rooms, everything ranges from amazing to breathtaking. I will give special mention to... to... to...
Never mind.

Plan well in advance, as this tiny spot is booked solid. Bring about half the money and twice the appetite you'd need at Commander's Palace or Arnaud's.
