Wow! A real surprise in downtown Winchendon. Someone on this board had recommended this restaurant about a year ago, and we tried it over the weekend. The breakfast specials (the two we tried) were really outstanding. Spinach and gouda omelet, made with local gouda from Smith's farm, was savory and light, with a choice of biscuit or raisin toast, both homemade and both delicious, especially when warm. The Italian sausage and pesto omelet was an unusual combination, but it worked. A hearty meal, and the pesto did not overwhelm the egg. There were about ten or eleven specials, in addition to the usual menu. Service was attentive, the coffee flowed, and the price was reasonable. Great Sunday morning breakfast out!
