Hey guys, coming up to Detroit (from her home in Toledo) for Mom's birthday tomorrow. Already have dinner reservations, but as we're planning on going north to Sommerset and driving back down to the DIA and dinner, looking for a great breakfast option along the way. I've read the menus at Toast Ferndale and Cafe Muse as well as Wolfgang Pucks.
While quality is certainly number one, I know my mom and since it is her special day I want to make sure she enjoys it, so I guess what I'm looking for is a place that serves awesome and unique crepes/waffles/french toast/pancakes in sizeable portions. As I've never been to any of the above (or any breakfast spot in Detroit actually) I'm curious on opinions.
Additionally, I see Forte serves breakfast as does the Beverly Hills Grill, but I can't see menus. How about the Casinos, do any of them do a nice breakfast spread at their buffets and/or restaurants?
