Okay, I've exhausted my patience with the horrid Denny's, Perkin's, Rick's and Phil's of the Calgary morning scene. Waited in line for breakfast at Nellie's on 4th street this morning - Nothing all that positive to say about it. It has some downtownish charm I suppose, but my food was cool/lukewarm, the eggs were rock hard and the plates were kinda wet. Coffee is decent I guess, but I feel that Nellies in Calgary is a bit like the Naam in Vancouver, mostly hype and sometimes downright unsanitary.
My question is, where the heck can I go for breakfast in Calgary, and not a buffet?
