Just ate at Bright's Food Shop- what a strange place! Breakfast was an odd mix of mexican flavored eggs and cornbread with fortune cookies for dessert! I understand the Asian-Mexican fusion cuisine, but it seemed as if the only asian influence here was a fortune cookie. The worst part was the nitrate-free turkey chorizo which tasted like fine corrogated cardboard(trying, but failing, to also capitalize on the whole Chelsea-health food kick).
That said, I'm looking for suggestions on GREAT Chelsea breakfast places. My definition of great is kind of like Annie's on the UES: 10 different style pancakes, waffles, french toast, lots of omelette selections, etc., etc.
Any idea? Plz help!!!!
