I went to whole foods yesterday to buy the Baker's bread and the only one that they were selling expired today (so of course I did not buy it). Is this a specific problem with the Baker's bread or natural breads in general due to lack of turnover and lack of preservatives? Believe it or not our WF is not that crowded (they choose a poor location). Also, supposed I had bought the bread that would expire today and put it in the freezer, do I then disregard the expiration date and keep it for a few more weeks or does the expiration date still hold? Thanks!
