Bread for Bahn Mi buffet

Autumm2 | Jun 22, 201609:48 PM     11

This weekend I'm hosting a gathering and I'm going a bahn mi bar, with all the fixings and guests assemble to each diner's likings. Some dietary restrictions and pickiness make this a very easy on my part yet tasty gathering. I'm stumped on the bread though. I would like people to make several mini-sandwiches to try a variety of fillings, as I will have 4 different main protein options. Slider buns just don't scream "BAHN MI" but would be the size I'm looking for, or do I slice a baguette into 2 inch sections? Normally I would consider making my own buns, but with a kiddo under the weather, store bought will have to do.

FYI: Will also have lettuce leaves for the low carb or gluten free guests to do lettuce wraps
