You read it.....what's your average cook size? When I cook it's generally with the intention of having plenty of left overs for the family to eat during the week. Since I'm the chef of my house, and I generally have appointments several nights a week, causing me to eat out, I cook in abundance on the weekends so we have plenty of left overs to hold the family over during the week.
I know people who despise left overs and do their best to gauge their meals for just enough for that particular meal, anything left over goes out with the trash, that's not me.
