HEY. Since all food roads begin and end at Chowhound, I figured that someone might be able to help me with this sooner or later.
I eat at Two Boots Grand Central pretty often and usually get a plain slice - which is described on its tag as having a "piquante sauce" or something like that (I can't remember the exact wording). I want to make this sauce! Does anyone who has had this pizza know a close approximation of a recipe for their sauce?
I feel like it may involve hot or chili sauce but it's not exactly spicy - it's tangy and 'hot,' but not spicy.
Any ideas would be appreciated. I'd upload a sample of the pizza if I could ..
