Upon advice from a pack of Hounds, we met our friends for dinner this evening - an unqualified success. Greeted by Valet of the Dolls parking service, we found that our table had not been freed up yet - lots of apologies and we were squeezed into a booth (5 people a bit of a squash) to wait. After 35 minutes and after some prompting a basket of corn muffins, we were seated. Great menu - Caesar salad plus mushroom crusted salmon on a bed of greens and mashed potatoes; Chowpup had blackened catfish, divine and the others also had salmon and a pulled pork sandwich plus tiramisi with five forks and coffee. Warm inviting room with a roaming chef Eric to comfort all the patrons on a crisp winter night. Charming waiter. Room noisy but still intimate enough to be able to hold a conversation. Lingered until all the staff were eating. Happy atmosphere, decent food and prices. We'll be back.
