I know Rare Bar and Grill does not always figure highly in the best burger in NYC threads on this board but I thought I would provide an account of the "T Bone" burger I ate in their 37th and Lex spot last night.
Quite simply, the best burger I've had in 12 months of following the suggestions on this board. The "T Bone" is a new addition to their menu I believe. It's pricy. 21 bucks. But man, it was awesome. Chopped Sirloin and T Bone steak flambeed in Tequila, wrapped in smoked applewood bacon and finished off with murray's cheddar and a smattering of mini battered onion rings with the usual lettuce/tomato/onions...
Cooked medium it was sublime to say the least. Pricy yes, but I enjoyed it immensely and will be back there to try again...!
