"Family owned, and open for 3 months. This is the first Corona Burrito to open noth of the border. There are 5 in Tijuana. Everything is made to order in this casual almost fast food environment. Very unique and delicious dishes."

"Also, try "Bol Corona" the famous burritos from Tijuana now in Bonita, CA, in South Bay, on Bonita Road.

"Bol Corona , Any cab driver can direct you to one of the many franchises of this Tijuana establishment near the city centre. Bol Corona was founded in the 1930's and popularized the then little known "burrito" among the American tourists seeking haven from prohibition laws in the United States. Featuring very inexpensive yet high quality Mexican cuisine, Bol Corona is a must. Several franchises have opened on the San Diego side of the border as well.'

Apparently, Bol Corona is the restaurant which popularized the burrito beginning in 1934 - the owner was from Sonora. There is a location in Bonita.

4444 Bonita Rd Bonita, CA 91902
