Bodega Bistro vs. Lotus Garden

My husband and I went to Bodega Bistro for the first time last night, it was absolutly wonderful.

We knew we had to order the papaya salad and were suprised at just how good it was, I really didn't care for green papaya salad before but this rendition has made me a papaya salad convert. It had the perfect balance of sweet, salty and savory. We also had the imperial rolls, wich were deep fried but greaseless, the crepe with shrimp and pork wich was literally bursting with shrimp, and another dish from the street food section with the tastiest pork we have had in a long time. We also took advantage of the beers available, I couldn't get over only paying $2.50
for import beer at a restaurant! You can't even find those prices at a bar!

We live in Bernal Heights/Outer Mission Area and I was wondering with all the recent posts about Lotus Garden
how does it compare with Bodega Bistro? Are they too differnt to compare? Would we be let down going to Lotus Garden after our great expirience last night?

Thanks for you time
Kristine
