After working in Hayward for nearly a year, I finally found Bobby Lee's Country Smoke House. Bobby Lee's is smoke house heaven. Smoked hams, bacon, cajun tasso, turkey wings, 30 different links and sausages. All of Bobby Lee's sausages are stuffed into natural casing. Bobby Lee makes his own corned beef, b-b qued pork ribs and the best meat loaf I've ever had. Bobby Lee's Santa Maria Marinated Tri Tip is over the top. The tri tip is vacuum packed and can be stored in the fridge for a month. I slow cooked mine over mesquite. All products are made at the smoke house. I met Bobby Lee himself the last time I was stocking up. Out of central casting. He has been in the meat business for over 50 years. Bobby told me he prepares over 500 items at the smokehouse. Weather permitting, the B-B-Q patio is open for lunch. And Bobby Lee accepts food stamps - how can you beat it. This is a true chowhound find.
