Bo Town, SJ Report

Arlene | Oct 26, 2004 10:47 PM

Based on co-workers recommendations tried Bo Town Seafood Restaurant, SJ. It's really good. If you're in the area don't miss this place!

Bo Town is a Chinese, Vietnamese restaurant. Tried what co-workers like. 5 dishes for 2, we had lots of leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day.

Everything can be ordered in English. Major plus! Plus they take Credit Card and the waitress we had was super nice and helpful, free parking in their lot!

Sour Catfish Soup (hot) $6.99 Everyone should try this dish, it's awesome. Big slice of catfish, 2 pcs of okra, taro root, lotus root, tomatoes, pineapple. Huge portion enough for 3-4pp.

Deep Fried Pork's Intestines. $6.25 As good as China Village. Must try!! Crunchy, creamy, delicious.

lemon grass aromatic chicken (hot) $6.50 Not spicy for us, not dry, juicy even. Good.

Eggplant garlic sauce (hot) $5.75 Waitress said her favorite dish. I agree. It's good! Soft, not too gooey, yummy.

catfish in clay pot w/ fish sauce $6.25. 4 good size pieces w/ lots of flavor. Good.

Lots to try. Lamb Fire Pot sounds great. $small $14.99/larger $17.99
bbq pork w/ rice vermicelli $4.99
clams w/ black bean sauce $7.99

Lunch special M-F 11am-3pm
coworker recommends chicken black bean sauce $4.50
