Okay I went to Blue Ribbon about a week ago and was a little disappointed.
First the food(I had sushi and sushi only). So the sushi was poorly cut, razor thin(I could see the rice through the tuna) and just upseting. The roll that I had was poorly done kept falling apart/unrolling. The food wasnt overpriced but for what you got it was. I would rather spend the extra money at nobu and actually get something.
Next the service. What service? 15 minutes to see the waiter at the sushi bar, never refilled my beverage, 20 minutes to get a check and 10 minutes to return with the receipt. It was so bad even if the food was great I probably would not go back.
Just opinion and they do not reflect those of chowhound and are mine alone.
