Forgot about this place after being on my must list. We found it very enjoyable, loved everything, but would not order anything again........crazy? We loved it, but would not crave it, so would love to try other dishes.
I had a Ginger Martini.....not chilled enough but interesting.....and my husband an exceptional sakitini. Love the bread basket, especially the in house sesame crisps. Tuna with fried soba app was amazing, as was the steak and smoked salmon tartar, although after having fresh wasabi, found the fresh wasabi emulsion to be a letdown, although a perfect compliment to the dish. I would just love to see true fresh wasabi in Boston.
Entree's - we went for the house specialties of Butterfish - amazing, and Peppered Lobster.....very cool, unusual, but perhaps overpowering that magical lobster flavour. We had a lovely glass of wine with our entree...forget what...........
The strange thing is, we were wiped out by this meal. No room for dessert, as I had intended. Perhaps the lobster has a special chinese/asian ingredient......we felt .......done........has anyone felt this way......
Would definately go back to try new things......just a great menu. But what made us so wiped out to not have dessert. Strange.
