Just to let everyone know who doesn't already know this, Tony Ambrose (chef of Ambrosia) has opened up a new restaurant in Hingham. It is your not-so-basic steak and seafood restaurant that serves up incredibly quality food at what I would call a pretty reasonable price. I started the meal off with some sashimi from their raw bar. I had two stone crab legs and a Yellowfin Maguro. Both were incredibly fresh and well prepared both in presenation and in the homemade sauces they were prepared with. My friends got the fried calamari which was light buttery and was obviously made from fresh squid. I next had the 1 1/2 lb baked stuff lobster which was served with a buttery crab and shrimp meat stuffing, sauteed green beans, squash, baby carrots, and garlic mashed potatos. This was also fantastic. We ended the meal with a molten chocolate cake and a cappuccino. With all of these items and tax and tip I shelled about about 55. At Grill23 that would have been close to 100. Anyways, great meal, everyone should check the place out.
