Bistro D'oc Report

I was under the impression that this French Bistro across form Ford's Theatre specialized in cuisine of the Languedoc region. But a glance at the menu and specials reveals everything from choucroute to Belgian leeks with crabmeat.

For the record, we had: charcuterie, the leeks, duck confit, and a braised veal in the Languedoc style.

The bad part was the charcuterie. A bit meager and off-putting. The other dishes were serviceable renditions, nothing particularly interesting. The food was good enough to consider a return visit, but I would hardly go out of my way for it. Considering some very good alternatives, like Jaleo or Teaism, I can't see recommending this place to visiting Chowhounds looking for great bites in the neighborhood.
