I plan on spending my birthday next month in Napa at a friends house lazying by the pool. Four of us will go out for dinner on Sunday night before returning to the city. Currently considering Foothill Cafe, Brix, Mustards (northern border). My pick will go to a place that scores high on these specs:

A seafood heavy menu, lots of grill options, outdoor patio, relatively unhandled, non-fussy approach, great bread and desserts in a relaxed setting with a wait staff that are friendly and knowledgeable but not intrusive. A well selected (not overwhelming) wine list is a plus. All this in the $50. per person range, and of course, a great chowhound rating!

Are there others that you love, or would never return to? I have never been to ANY restaurants in Napa so suggest away, but please stick to Napa town only and not Julia's @ Copia.
