Birthday Cake in Rome in August

Belisarius26 | Mar 1, 201510:40 AM     2

My daughter will turn 16 while we're in Rome this August and doesn't want to miss out on a birthday cake because we're away. Can Chowhounders suggest a good pasticceria or a restaurant? She loves chocolate as well as cannolis and lobster tails (especially from Mike's Pastry in Boston). We'll be staying in the Monti neighborhood but also may be in the Centro Storico/Campo de' Fiore area that day. Mille grazie!

(Oh, and I know this is almost the same question as an earlier thread -- http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/465946 -- but that one is from 2007.)
