Binny"s "end of Bin" specials- proceed with caution!

I often frequent the castle at Clark/ Wellington and love the selection and friendly and helpful staff...the miser I am is always looking for a good deal, and they often have these wine specials with the prices marked down significantly from the original price (often from renowned wineries) ....

My experience has been that these wines are usually "on the turn", and barely, if at all drinkable. They are usually marked "all sales Final" for very obvious reasons!!

To me, it's akin to a food market selling spoiled food, and I think it's a disservice to both the winery that produces the wine and the customer who thinks he/she is getting a deal, but may no longer buy that particular brand of wine.
