A big Indonesian Bazaar in San Jose- March 14, 2004

Han Lukito | Mar 9, 200406:54 PM

This will be held in San Jose.

Many previous posts in the past about this large Indonesian bazaar featuring many hard to find Indonesian dishes and specialties that are readily seen out in the table (no guessing) and featuring numerous vendors. Also plenty of tables and large space that can handle any crowds. This might be outdoor if not mistaken. Also, this is the largest food event for Indonesian food I have seen to date. Prices are cheap to moderate. Many vendors offer authentic dishes and some are clearly outstanding although you have to know "which vendor". If you appreciate Asian food, then I bet you will like this event a lot.

USe CTRL-F with word "Indonesia" or just go to home page and search "Indonesia San Francisco". Look out for special tips to avoid vendors that has sub-par offerings.

Here are the details:

Sunday, March 14, 2004
10 am- 3:30 pm but I suggest you go there as early as possible to avoid crowds

770 Montague Expressway, San Jose

Entrance fee $1.50 per person, children free

Sponsored by NESO

I will not attend due to another occassion I have to go to. Maybe a kind chowhound who has attended this before may be willing to get a table for some of you chowhounds to share things, Peter Yee ??

Let me know the results if anyone is going ! Take good notes, which vendor offering what good stuff.
