2 very good things happened as a result of the Cubs-Yankees series this weekend:
-The Good Guys actually beat the Evil Empire twice;
-The horrific collision that produced Hee Seop Choi's concussion (n.b. NOT a good thing), led to follow up articles (good thing) in which we learned that:
"When workers at the F.D.L.T. Korean Restaurant on
the North Side learned Sunday that their most famous
customer, Cubs first baseman Hee Seop Choi, had
returned to his apartment from Illinois Masonic
Hospital with nothing worse than a bad headache, it
was music to their ears.
It meant that they might soon again hear the type of
music they have come to enjoy.
"Choi likes to come in here and sing karaoke in the
bar, mostly Korean songs," said Ki Nam, who works
behind the sushi bar. "He hasn't sung 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' yet, though."
I cannot figure out what/where "F.D.L.T. Korean Restaurant" is. Thoughts?
This is the perfect synergy of my two favorite things: the Cubs, and eating.
