Thanks to all who recommended places to eat near 45 Bleecker Theater. We went to Bianca at 6:OO on Monday evening and had a great meal. Standout appetizers included the chicken livers and marinated sardines. The rack of lamb special (for 18 bucks), frito misto and several pasta dishes were also excellent. Six people ate well(4 or 5 appetizers, 5 entrees, and one very good mixed berry gelato) and drank well(a good 25 dollar bottle of prosecco, two glasses of merlot, and one soda)for $40 per person including tip. A deal and a delight. I wish we had a place like this in DC!

P.S. The Sarah Jones show, Bridge and Tunnel, at 45 Bleecker, was extraordinary. Go if you can, but tickets may be hard to get. The Monday performance was sold out.
