I know Bertha's generally gets no respect(as Rodney would say)on this board, but my son and I went there last evening and had a very good meal. We split the mussels, with butter and caper sauce. The mussels were very tender and flavorful, not grit, no beards. The salads were excellent, not a bit of iceberg in sight all soft field greens. We also split the Paella also very, very good.
The wine an acceptable Verdicchio that hit the spot. Service was
terrific. All in all a very good meal with drinks and dessert...:)
