Berkeley - Candy Bouquet

rworange | Feb 13, 2008 10:12 AM

This little candy shop is part of a franchise. However just as every florist that offers the FTD service is different, the shops that offer candy bouquets are also different.

One wall is lined with glass apothecary jars holding over thirty flavors of wrapped chocolate bon bons which are supplied by the main Candy Bouquet factory. Sugar-free chocolates are also available, though in limited flavors. They are used in the festive bouquets which start at $30 or can be purchased separately (10 cents each or 12 for $1 … sugar-free are 15 cents)

The very nice owner offered me a sample. Here’s what I thought in General Topics

They also have baskets of as many flavors of salt water taffy at the same price.

One corner has lollipops in various sizes, colors and shapes. They sell about a dozen varieties of bagged or boxed liquorice including salted liquorice. They even had boxes of ribbon candy.

There are various candy bars tucked here and there like Cherry Mash, Flicks, Necco Wafers, Black Jack and Beeman's Gum, etc

It is not the biggest selection, but a place to consider if trying to find a specific candy locally.

Bouquets are delivered to homes, businesses, hospitals, etc in Albany and Berkeley. Outside those areas the shop will arrange for them to be shipped. Candies in the bouquets can be customized to selected flavors.

They also offer chocolography services … printing photos on chocolate
