Hi everyone. I know food court fare in downtown TO isn't exactly the most glamorous chowhound material, but its a fairly popular place.
I went today and was told that their last day is friday, the lease is expiring. The staff looked visibly upset (he said some of them worked there for 9 years). Its a shame, it was my favourite spot to get lunch (been going there for five or so years) and much tastier (IMO) than Edo's and the Teriyaki Experience.
I'm guessing the Atrium's management was asking for too much, which seems a bit odd to me because other than McD's and Subway, this was the busiest place in the food court. Some of the new places look pretty dead, even the newly opened Taco Time and Feta Olives look pretty empty.
It sucks to see it go. Does anyone know of anything similar nearby? To me Edo's the TE are a bit too dry and bland.
